Building a dock....What material?

Jon, back home at the marina, we used Marine pressure treated wood to build the docks. It last an extremely long time in the water. Mahogany is a beautiful wood but too expensive for what we did. But I can say that the marine wood will last a long time and you can stain it to what ever color you want.
