If you like good seafood, try Deanie's in Bucktown, you won't be disappointed. Try the "Dock" on West End, for a good time.

If it is the Omni Royal Orleans, the Rib Room is the restaurant in the hotel...Great smoked salmon -- right around the corner from my apt.

Go to R&O's on the lake front for the best shrimp and roast beef Po boy and gumbo in the city bar none. . Mr. b's is great , Bars on st charles st. (up town) Samules, the Columns, Fat harrys, Magazine st, the Bulldog (great t-shirt) F&M bar. Carrolton st. Madigans, Cooter Browns. On Mapel st (Tulane bars) Brunos,Philips,TJ quills. Also Commanders Palace. Lagers bar on Veterens. Also westend area by lake front. Dont eat on Bourbon st. Rock n Bowl on Carrolton st. Old Metari is cool also. Wharehose district also, plus many other to numerous to list

we just spent a long weekend there for easter with the kids. stayed at the omni on st. luis and royal. everything is great. i love NOLA. hell even the kids liked bourbon st. there is too much to do. fun will find you. you won't have to go looking for it.
