Chuck,

Great advice as always. Maybe we need to add a few more comandments.

One thing that sticks out in my head was a discussion I shared with C-Spray and C Dragon down at the Miami Boat Show. Craig was talking about the speed war between Fountain and Outerlimits and we all agreed that a race like that is just asking for a tragedy.

Let's look at setting parameters for these world's fastest V-bottom (cat, stepped, non-stepped, etc.)

I could drop a turbine in my Kryptonite and do 200mph....or crash and burn.
Even up the field and do a true head's up pitting even size boats with even power and drives and let's see who wins. Make it a yearly event to keep things interesting.

C-spray said it best "Don't be stupid. Ever."
Things happen too fast at the speeds we play at.
