Broken hatch? That's nothing. My boat was broken before I went so I towed my buddy's boat out. Then, on the way home I lost the tranny in my dually. I got to spend three days in Needles and my wallet is $2600 lighter!

Had a great time on the water though. Didn't really run into too many of the guys though. I did see Kevin running hard back from the sandbar with Norty following a few minutes behind! (Kevin made me tell you guys that! )

Al, we were getting ready to pick you up in Needles if need be. Kevin said you were OK though. Breaking sucks!!

Kevin told me you could stop by if needed. Thanks for the offer. The truck was already at the tranny shop and they said they'd have it done by the next day so I ddin't want to go back to LA and then have to get a ride back out to Needles.

How did you make out with your boat? Figure out the problem yet? Sorry we couldn't tow you back in. The people I was riding with had to meet some friends at the lunch deal so they were short on time. You were gone by the time we got back. Hope it turned out okay.

Dude, I haven't talked to the mechanic yet, I'm kind've scared too I'm just waiting for him to call me, so I don't know what the prob is yet. I hope it's just a valve spring or something easy like that.

And about the tow, it's no biggie. I felt bad about putting anyone out cause I know it was a fairly long tow back but Nort came through for me! Thanks Nort!!!
