Ask the buyer what name the bank is who proccessed the cashier ck. Then look it up yourself, make sure they are for real (FDIC) and call them to verify that your buyer has received that ck and amount from them before your buyer gives you ck.

This may sound dumb, but don't get the phone number of bank from buyer. He may give you his number and have his buddy answer the phone as " Good morning, First Rip-Off Bank Here" how can we fu@k you today". Always look up bank yourself and verify with your info-not his/hers.
