2nd annual Demo Race on Lake George N.Y.
 

In Co-ordination with Lake George Village and The Great Queens Boat Race, We will be hosting the 2nd annual Demonstration races on Saturday May 22nd @2:00 pm. Two classes of boats will run a closed 4-5 mile course for 6-7 laps. The classes will be divided up by speed. There will be an 80 mph max class and a 100+ mph class. I am hoping for 10 boats to run in each class. All boats will be on display at the docks for spectator viewing from 11:00am until kickoff at 2:00pm.

I am looking for boats to fill in the 100 mph class. (The 80 mph class is pretty much filled up with last years boats) Helmets, Life Jackets, and teathers will be worn and proof of insurance is a must. If you are interested in helping out and having some fun at the same time give me a call or contact Shane from this board. Last years turnout was absolutly great

REMEMBER : This is not an actual race. It will be a demonstration of what we are capable of. We will all take turns leading and passing each other and put on a great show for the hundreds of spectators on shore.

Is 42 OL different from 42 Cig? I tough only Fountains had inflated lengths what with the owner's overall altitude and all. :D:D:D Hi Rick!

Bring it on up to LG but if you cant make that we will have to hook up down here. Undicided as for what will be next, I love the AT and will certainly look at whatever is for sale in my price range from them.

Just so ya know insurance will be void if they find out you are "racing"..... READ your insurance plans VERY carefully. I know mine had a little tiny clause in there.

we might have two for ya I'll have Ron give them a call and see if the want to play. One is a American offshore cat when he gave us a ride last year we saw 96. talk about putting you back in your seat, sure it can do more. The other is a new 36' spectre bought late last fall. Ron is running into trouble today on the Job but sure he will catch up with ya by tomorrow.

If you read my post a little closer you would have seen the word HAD in there as in my insurance clause HAD a line in there about racing.... :p :p Currently my business insurance covers that boat as long as it is inside my shop.

yup Bruce Miller's sweet looking isn't.
I'm not sure what speeds he gets but Ron ran into him over the winter and he was saying something about going faster, Ron would know but 114 is sticking in my mind I could be off.
