Default Auto-Meter gauges??

What is the difference between the Auto-Meter gauges that I can order from the Jeg's catalog that are available in both electric and mechanical and the Marine ones from Rex Marine and other suppliers???

I would like to completely redo my dash with these and Rex Marine says they are out of catalog's (yea right! they are always out of them when I request one)

I don't know but when I bought my procomp gauges the salesman asked if I knew these were not marine gauges. I asked him to explain why the sell the outboard motor tach? No answer. They have worked flawlessly for thee years but they do live in a canopied cockpit.
