Holy Stereo Batman !!!

If you pop a motor, you could always sell the stereo equipment to pay for it :)

Good luck with her. Lets see the outside.

LapseofReason 04-30-2004 08:04 AM

OK what gives I post one picture and it takes one away.

You have to have different text in your post; otherwise it will replace your last post.

OBNOXUS21 04-30-2004 12:21 PM

Nice boat!!! I met the previous owner of it at my marina. Nice guy and an ever nicer boat. He let me get in and really have a look at it, since there really aren't many Nortechs at LOTO.

Congrats.... and enjoy

Quiet Storm 04-30-2004 12:26 PM

A friend of mine has a 50' and it is just an outstanding boat.

Congratulations on your find.

Downtown42 04-30-2004 12:39 PM

Aug 2003 APBA races in MILW. Cruising the river with my mom and step dad (77yrs) and ran into Masquerade's 50 Nortech. I yelled to him as he was docked and asked " you have 2 or 3 motors there big boy?" He didn't say but held up 4 fingers and I don't think he was flipping me off 4 times either.

Pops still talks to me about that...:)

lakeluvr 04-30-2004 12:49 PM

Very nice indeed Lapse. They are one hellave boat. Got a ride in a 50 footer with triple blown monster motors at LOTO. Saw 95 before he shut it down, and crusised effortlessly at 65, and the motors seemed like they were almost idling. I'm sure you'll love it. Congrats.

Yes, quite near East L.A.

Eastern Lower Alexandria; where all the hoolums from Alexandria, meet all the hoodlums from Woodbridge.

OldSchool 04-30-2004 02:55 PM

I'm just a Po Hick that boats out of Pohick Bay.:D :D :D

RJ1340 04-30-2004 07:17 PM

Lapse Of Reason:
I drove that boat at Lake of the Ozarks last year. I think the previous owner bought a cat. He has very cool house on the lake, a two-lift boat dock and some nice little cc in dock #2. It didn't dawn on me until I read it had triple 850s and #5s. 98, huh?
Anyway, good luck with it. Does it still have the soda fountain and house vac in it?
Oh, yeah. The weekend I saw it was that firemans shootout, and we watched it from Shooters. That was a blast.

Tbonepmp 04-30-2004 08:14 PM

I know the previous owner of thay boat very well. I can assure you that you are purchasing an extremely well maintained boat. I believe he purchased a 50' Nor-tech cat, I have not spoke with him for a while but last time we did that was the plan. Runs strong and throws a nice rooster!!!!!! Congrats!!!!!! :)

LapseofReason 04-30-2004 08:55 PM

Thanks again all, I do most of my rafting up at Mattowoman, and Fairview, dock to eat and drink at both Tims and the Ho-asis. I will be having some party's at my house this year. Yes the boat is from loto and the old owner bought a cat, I would love to hear all that everybody knows about it.

I cant wait to hear it fire up behind my house and for some poker run action, it wont be the fastest thing out there but it will do it in comfort and style, I hope.:D

LapseofReason 04-30-2004 09:03 PM

As far as the gas tank at my house, I am zoned A-1 and can put a 500 gal. tank in the ground as long as it's 100 feet from the water without a permit.

I have a deck that is built into the hill side about 70 feet from the water. So the tank is in the ground and it's piped under the deck I have a door that opens and a 300' power reel in there so I can get to the end of the dock and the driveway with it.

Right now Super 93 oct. is 1.88$ a gal. delivered

LapseofReason 04-30-2004 09:06 PM

I sell gas for what I pay for it to Hot Naked Women.

wildthing357 04-30-2004 09:13 PM

LoR, Congrats looks great can't wait to see more pic's. Good luck with the new boat.

OldSchool 05-02-2004 08:11 PM

LOR,
After looking at the pictures in posts #69 & 70, Are you sure that the boat isn't one of those new Apaches?:p :D :D Looks just like one!!!:D :D

salesmanship 05-03-2004 08:48 AM

Congrats. Look forward to seeing you on Friday.

Anyone interested in a really nice 42 Sonic?
Terry

Ron P 05-03-2004 08:57 AM

Damn that's the biggest four seater I've ever seen.

Good luck with the new toy. You should call it "Thirsty".

farfrumwerken 05-03-2004 04:10 PM

Lapse -

Congrats on the super new boat. I'm relatively new to OSO (at least for posting) and it's always great to see new boats. I do most of my boating in the upper Potomac, but get down around Mattawoman a few times a year...with gas $$ way up now, I may have to float down river from the Wilson Bridge!! If you ever get up to G-town on a Friday, please get there early, put your bumpers on the "Wall" and let all of us "shorties" (38' Sonic) tie up with ya...

Wasabe 05-03-2004 08:54 PM

I think post 69 and 70 had a Lapse of color in the pic.

:D :D :D
