"Semi-chrome" or S-100 Total Finish Restorer, available at most bike shops does a great job.

AUTOSOL is the product I've used for many moon and have always had great results. I also use it on gelcoat and plastic. Brian |

If the aluminum is pitted, you're in real trouble. You'll actually have to remove material to get back down to a good shine. If it's really bad, you'l wind up painting them. :(
I've heard lots of good things about the ZoopSeal, especially from the pro streetrod guys, but the $ for the kit got may attention big time. I'm going to get all my polished stuff touched up and then anodized or powder-coated. There are some fantastic candy and metallic powders out there now. Raw polished aluminum and salt water just plain don't mix. :crazy: |
