While I find it hard to believe Tillman turned down the cash for war, and I have to wonder what was going through Tillman's head, the bottom line is it is none of my business what Tillman's motives were. He did what he did and he showed uncommon courage. I would have liked to have shaken Tillman's hand.
It's guys like Tillman that get chit done. It's just too bad he got killed. That man is hero in my mind, period.

We enjoyed watching Pat Tillman throughout his football career here in Arizona and were overwhelmed what he gave up to fight for us. We are proud of you Pat. God bless you and your family. We'll miss you.

I am not a football fan, I am not a fan of G Bush nor of this war but I can say this with conviction....... Pat Tillman was the epitome of a "red, white and blue badass".
