Terra, you said no AC. But, you had window units. That counts as AC. Remember, I'm from the north. Still not used to the high temps down here. The AC helps with the sleeping. Dont need it during the day. I got AC in the truck and the water at the beach is nice.

Heat exhaustion is nothing to mess with. I know that feeling. Just think what I had to deal with wearing a bullet proof vest and a dark uniform. I can see why most of the local depts. down here have white or light colored shirts.
