CHEEESUS KRYST them rotten %$#&#)#+{@!^#*$^$'S

The Menace 05-07-2004 11:25 AM

They are not high as they will be !

Wait to the thick of summer vacation hits. Fuel at the docks will crest $2.50 per gallon. Especially for 93 or 97.

BonnieOutlaw 05-07-2004 11:26 AM

It's already $2.50 a gallon here on the water...I bet it goes well over $3 this summer.

mopower 05-07-2004 11:30 AM

I'm selling every bit of stock I have and buying Exxon/Mobil. If I'm gonna get $crewed I might as well get something back for it:mad:

open87 05-07-2004 11:37 AM

Airpacker 05-07-2004 12:46 PM

Its still less than we are getting poled for!Gas jumped about 26 cents a US gallon on Monday. Average is about 2.50 a US galon right now(88 cdn. cents a liter) on the street and about 3.05 a gallon on the water.(1.09 a liter)

Strip Poker 388 05-07-2004 12:47 PM

And my 200 gal tank is empty from the Tickfaw 200 Poker run . $400.00 :DMaybe it will last awhile.

I wounder what the Race gas has gone up to ,I have not been in a while . was $7.00 a gall then. Atleast the NOS was only 2.50 a pound.I guess we are going to do more drinking on the peirs than riding:D

open87 05-07-2004 12:53 PM

That's rough. We're paying like $ 2.99/3.07 per gallon.

Stormrider 05-07-2004 02:48 PM

Who the hell says there's no inflation?

I'm in the wire and cable dist. business...
and copper has doubled since a yr ago.
And all the oil based compounds used in
the insulation and jackets has gone up
tremendously also.

ST31 05-07-2004 02:52 PM

Filled up the car today here in Plano (Dallas). Was just about halfway full when I happened to glance at the price, $2.059 per gallon. Don't know when the hell that happened.

As far as buying on the water, when I was at Lake Travis two weeks ago the price was $2.599 per gallon. Even Diesel has gone sky high. This is BS....... :hothead:

ernie davis 05-07-2004 03:02 PM

Think Diesel :D

obnoxus 05-07-2004 03:30 PM

Crude oil closed at $40 per barrel. Gas is $2.00 a gallon.

When gas was $2.50 a gallon crude was $30 per barrel...... WTF !!!!!!!!!??????????

mopower 05-07-2004 03:31 PM

MARK MY WORDS
The prices will continue to rise throughout the summer. By mid July people will really be getting fed up. BY the end of the summer GW will promise and investigation like how many times before:rolleyes:. And by election time it will be .50 to .75 agallon less. Also NO EXPLANATION OF THE INVESTIGATION.

Now the good part.......after the "erection" bend over and grab your ankles. Because here it come again or as us Jerseyans have come to know it B.O.H.I.C.A.
You heard this from Mopower:hothead:

38KV 05-07-2004 03:38 PM

Sorry , but we're not as rich as all you Swedes

That's exactly what the oil companies are after. They want the U.S. prices as high as the rest of the world. Trouble is , they know they can do it.

CAP071 05-07-2004 03:59 PM

Solution is kick the Saudi's lying asses and keep all the oil for ourselves. Plain and simple Pres. Nixon seen all this coming and had a plan to conquer the middle east and make it a US Oil Pumping country :eureka:

We couldn't do that....all the do gooders would have a fit.
They want to crucify us for the prisoner treatment but you don't here any more about the contractors (who weren't fighting the war) that were KILLED and drug though the streets. tap tap tap ya know.

Oh $hit I better take another blood pressure pill before I blow a friggin head gasket here:D :D

CAP071 05-07-2004 04:09 PM

Honestly it seems everything we accomplished in WWII is now going down the drain :(

Can you only imagine if they do good ***s were around in mass numbers during WWII

mopower 05-07-2004 04:20 PM

Kill the "do gooders" first.

eyezlee 05-07-2004 07:24 PM

yep regular unleaded in Tulsa today is 1.88/gal. Premium is 1.99

BUT diesel is 1.51. With the walmart card that's 1.48. Glad I bought the 'stoke.

Its sick, I won't be able to do much runnin' at these prices.

LostinBoston 05-07-2004 07:37 PM

maybe i should rethink a boat with big blocks??? maybe that black thunder with trip yanmars would be better??? then i can make my own fuel for $0.60 a gallon. im sure my neighbors
(townhouse) wouldnt mind a few hundred gallons of diesel sitting in barrels in my driveway.

eyezlee 05-07-2004 07:55 PM

biodiesel has a long way to go. first it has to be approved as fuel. there is no way i'd do it in a 40k truck.

Chris L 05-07-2004 09:00 PM

The price of fuel in general has changed a lot of boaters enjoyment activity's tremendously. It has sent a lot of companies out of business a well. Is the steam engine coming back?

mopower, I hope your statement is ironic,
I don't want to start a riot here, but you can not blame us here in europe for the increased gasprices.
That $5 per gallon is because of our f***ng democrat government steeling 75% in taxes.
I'm a hard working man who is dedicated to powerboating, not that back slick gold chain guy.

Downtown42 05-07-2004 09:27 PM

93 was 1.89 last yr

93 is 2.09 now

only .20/gal x1000 gal =

200. screwing for the year

Von Bongo 05-07-2004 10:13 PM

LOL.. I bought some 93 today for 1.89...went back 2 hours later for some more and it was friggin $.10 more to 1.99 a gallon but the 87 hadn't changed. I think they saw me comming. It's now $500 to filler er up and that sucks.

mopower 05-07-2004 10:22 PM

Just heard on the 11pm news that crude prices hit $40 a barrel today...the highest since 1990:confused:

Uhh..... the oil companies back pocket?........ I can remember gas being about 1.25 at the highest in 1990... now it's 2.27 per gallon here.... and yet crude is the same... I know where some of the price hike went here.... added taxes from the riots and earthquake... but they were supposed to be rolled back after the repairs.... sorry... we need the money in the general budget to educate all the illegal children that ran across the border with their illegal parents... and more money to give the county hospitals because the illegal immigrants demand their "rights" to health care even if they don't have the ability to pay.... I'm getting fed up with the "rights" of every a$$hole that happens to land here in California with his hat in his hand......:hothead:
