I had one,

1974 Checkmate MX-15

YES, it was FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Difference is, I had it when I was 32

I was boatless, had sold the Jetboat, Sea ray, and pontoon to move to FL, and was bored, so I bought one for $500, restored it, drove it once, and sold it, the guy picked it up the day before I moved.
