Over on the left where you have all of your information, there are scales at the bottom of the block. You click on that in one of your posts to see your rating for that post. And when you click on it in someone else's block you get to rate them and leave a comment. Warm fuzzies, I haven't heard that one in a while. I guess that's pretty much what they are for.

It's basically just a plus/minus rating system for users. Think of it as a comment card at a resteraunt. Everyone starts out with ten points. You can approve or disapprove someone's post by clicking on the balance beam icon under everyone's name.
By clicking on your own, you can see what your score or reputation is.
By hovering your mouse pointer on the little green light under someone's name, it gives their reputation in terms of a little phrase.
