Default rhory - my reply to your PM

tried to PM you...you may need to change your preferences...

There's a nice 35 for sale which needs work in Miami...I think Craig Barrie is brokering it. I think it will go for somewhere in the 30s...which is a good price for a project. i don't know the details of this one, but it might be worth a call. the boat says EASY on the hullsides.

With TRS drives, you'll need approx 600hp per side to get into the 70's and you'll cruise at 50. With Bravos, you'll need a bit less, but as you point out, its a heavy boat and unless your good on the sticks, you may eat a couple until you get good on the throttles.

a bravo 496 combo is probably the best all around package for reliabilty and maint. given your locale...it sounds like anything remotely exotic will have to be sent abck to the states for repair...so I would buy stock merc power with warrantees if i were repowering.

my cafe is still for sale at 69k...i may be tempted to sell it for somewhere in the 40s without power...
