For informational purposes only: at the PRA Poker Run that left out of Sarasota a month or so ago, 103 would have put you in the bottom half of that run.

And before you ask me, I just have a little 311 SR-1 Formula.
I was in a 90MPH boat that was not in the bottom half of that run. It seems we started in the back and were 7th to the first card stop. Most of the OL guys were babying their equipment(which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

For that day, as rough as it was you are absolutely right. Lot of boats broke out there that day.

I did a quick poll, taking in the "boat factor" (lol) and asked speeds of about thirty of the boats. Most were in the 105-115 category with a bunch considerably faster. If it'd been calmer, everyone I talked to later said they'd been going much faster. Lot of boats ended up going inside. I also heard someone broke a propshaft and lost a five blade Herring. Never did find out who it was or if it in fact actually happened.

I love just listening to them leave out of the Hyatt. Like a squadron of P-51 Mustangs.

Hope you had a good time.

I'm sure its just me, but whenever someone posts a request for boat names I think to myself that if a person doesn't know what to name his boat he shouldn't have one.
