In Havasu you can walk down to the Channel (by the London Bridge) and watch the show go by. It will be a zoo over Memorial weekend.

In San Diego there are some places on the water that are good such as Anthony's Fish Grotto in the harbor (next to the Star Of India), but you most likely will not see to many performance boats. We usually head North towards Newport or out to Catalina when we go boating.

Hooters is everywhere. The chicks are no different there then here. The food is the same. Duuur.

Woody's well I never like their food. I'd rather eat Mc Donalds. And I do.

Havasu will be wild!! Go to Barley Brothers on the Island for good food and Great micro brew. Mudsharks has good food and great micro brew too. I would be there myself, but I have to go to New York for a family reunion.

Wasabe - Thanks for the additional recommendations. I will try Sabatinos. Nort's new boat??....would that be the Sunseeker Apache? I will try to check it out. Agree with you about Hooters. I got some of those....don't need the view.

Havasu Hangin - We'll try to get to the Yardhouse on Thursday. You have a white Cafe Racer, right? I'll look for you.

Thanks to everyone for the help. My cell number is 703-407-9106 if you are out and about in the area.

Safe waters.

Thanks for the recommendations.

Wasabe - Sabatinos food was great!! The service was even better (after we finally found our way there). Looked at some of the boats in the dry stack but could see much over the fence. Didn't have time to wander around 'cause it was dark and we had to get back to Long Beach.

Also enjoyed the Yard House..had dinner there. Right across the street from the Convention Center. And also had lunch at a little place on the other side of the marina (can't recall the name of the place) down from the Chocolate Factory.

Weather was awesome!
