It really took 7 days to tow from Florida up to Maryland?

Yes. it was quite a trip. First day (actually night) out the truck blew a trans. Since the truck was down, and the trailer brakes weren't working (and you need brakes with 8000# behind you) they both got an extended stay for repairs. Once finally back on the road the trailer blew a tire and one of the high pressure diesel injector lines cracked, so a few more hours were eaten up. Mitch had quite a trip by the time he got here, and that was only half way. Still had to run to Boston to pick up his new boat (look for the Carrera posts) for a hopefully much less eventfull run back to Tampa.
