Race Gas Prices ??
Okay, I know some of you guys gulp high octane like crazy.
What should I expect to pay for 100-104 octane race gas? What should I expect to pay for 110 octane race gas? What should I expect to pay for 114-118 octane race gas? And in what quantities (up to a 55gal drum, not a tanker)... I'm trying to determine the most cost effective way to get a 110+ octane brew, whether it entails mixing several things together or purchasing a finished product... |
Re: Race Gas Prices ??

Re: Race Gas Prices ??

Re: Race Gas Prices ??
I must really live in BF Egypt...
All I find in pumps around here are Turbo Blue Unleaded 100, and all normal flavors of avgas. Everything else is pail or drum quantities. |
Re: Race Gas Prices ??
around here, most are pumps. One guy is near the race track and watches you like a hawk making sure you don't fuel anything BUT 5 gallon cans however the other guy I go to allows anything you want ;)

Re: Race Gas Prices ??
The only thing I can find here in Orlando at the pump is 100 octane sunoco. I run it in my R6 now and then. It seems to be a bit expensive compared to what you all are saying.. its 3.99 a gallon...

Re: Race Gas Prices ??
Damn...you guys are getting great prices. In NJ, I just paid 5.40 for 20 gal Sunoco 110. By the 55 gal drum, they get 5.00/gal

Re: Race Gas Prices ??
I'm paying $7.89/gallon for 118 Leaded (116 AKI).
I don't want to pay so much... |
