I live in Manteca. You will want to boat the Delta. Let me know if you want to try and hook up some time. A GPS is a good idea if you have never been on the Delta and are not with someone that knows where they are going. I usually follow my dad around since he has been boating the Delta for about 40 years. When I go by myself I only go to a few places that I know well. Very easy to get lost.
