The trash came from the river banks right????says something about the area doesn't it? I would love to run down there in the fall when the weather goes to crap here..."about Labor day" but am a little gun shy now.....does the lake get cleaned up after this happens or does the crap just sink???? Its a shame that we all dont take better care of our waterways. A few years back bags of hospital waste was being dumped into lake Michigan and washing up around my neck of the woods....Just pisses me off!!should hang the bastages!

I don't think he was implying trash as in garbage but rather sticks branches, logs, ect. Its very simple: when it rains very hard (as it usually does in May) the feeder creeks wash into the lake bringing a lot of brush, trees, ect. Then if it raises the lake above the tree line the water will pick up logs and branches from the shore line. The lake is usually clear by early June. Even so if you are down there during a "gulley washer" you can expect to see debris in the main lake a day later.

All of this debris seems to find its way to very remote coves and forms small "log jams". Probably pushed there by boat wake and such.

I pay close attention now because one of those logs "bit" our Sunsation a couple years ago Nothing a lot of fiberglass work and a new gimble assembly couldn't fix

No I am just poor white trash. Actually the car is one built for the show by McBurnie. It is worth around $50k, and packing a 450HP Chevy 400CI with a Doug Nash 5 speed. It would blow the doors off of an original Daytona.
