i think charlevoix, should be able to leave the boat in our court, or at a friend farm. we live 5 miles from the super 8. you are more than welcome to stay here as well dwight.

Thanks for the offer and we may take you up on that. Now lets hope for smooth water. I have a smaller boat this year. (Its bigger than a 23 wellcraft)lol

We've been out once, last Sat. The flies were horrible. Next time, I'll shower:D

Going to see everyone today and show them the info on the fun run. We'll see. Did you get info on that Boyne Thunder poker run? The weekend before the fun run. We'll probably do one or the other. $600 for a 1st annual poker run seems steep to me.

Scott I bought another Challenger. I have a 28 now with a single 502. The story on my 33 is basically someone came along and made me a offer I could not say no to. So I sold it, made a little money, paid some bills, bought more stuff and got a 28. The 28 has the same hull design as the 33 so it is like riding in the same boat.
I have not tried it in the big lake but, it ran nice at loto this spring. It is about time for you to make that trip again isnt it? ;) Dwight

Scott The Holland crew is coming!!!Rachel and I and the couple with the Wellcraft (new 29 Quest this year) will be there with bells on!!!Cant hardly wait! We may stay in Elk Rapids the night before...not certain yet, a buddy bought a condo there that we can scam.....

i thought the 600 was high as well, but there seems to be alot planed, we are going to do both, i hope the boyne deal turns out nice. they need to make a good first impression.

Yea,I got the info on the Boyne run,but I guess I'm just a tight ass.Rather throw 600 in improvements in the boat,than a card hand......

Maria and I went to Shu's for supper and St.Joe was DEAD....Swung by the DNR launch and there was only 4 trucks and trailers,all looked to be fishing rigs......For the middle of June it was weird.....Lake looked to be 3-4'rs But lots of BIG logs in the river.....

Considering making the trip. Couple of questions - What's the conditions normally like in the Traverse Bay? What speeds do most of you run/cruise at to do this trip? How many miles is the trip? I've only got a 20' Awesome cat. Need I apply or am I just asking for trouble?
