Ya, It's Called A Rendezous( Rafting Party To Watch Th Race)
I Don't Know Much About The Waters Around Orange Beach.
Is There Any Inland Waters Or Is It All Offshore?

Re: Emerald Coast Poker Run 2004

Stu said its a rendezvous not a poker run in Orange Beach. Also the race is that weekend there also.

We are going to the Emerald Coast poker run. They had 230 boats there last year.Ought to be fun :D

Last I had heard the Mystics of Pleasure poker run in Orange Beach was 8/14 and the SBI races were 8/21-22 and Emerald Coast was 8/21.

If anyone knows different please say so.

I understand a group will be coming over from Orange Beach on Fri PM the Back Sat night. Should be a busy weekend . Will be at AJ's about 8:00 Friday night. In route to Ft Meyers tonight.

There were many boats arriving on trailers in Ft. Walton and Destin today when I was there.

There are a few boats going down from Atlanta. This will be my first real poker run,(I don`t count lake Lanier as a real poker run). This will also be the first time my 28 Skater hits the ocean.Needless to say I am very excited about this weekend.Looking forward to meeting some OSO members in person.

TMP, Extreme Motorsports, and Florida Powerboat Club will be hosting a party at the VIP lounge in Orange Beach on Fri. night. All are welcome to attend. We will have the TMP/Extreme Motorsports girls there giving out t-shirts and other things. We will also have a few of our boats on display in the dry pits. Cyclone and Excess Wetness will be the official pace boats at Sunday's race. Anyone who needs anything can call my cell: 504-415-6681

so what ever happened to the tmp/extreme radar run????????????

Jassman 08-19-2004 07:31 AM

Re: Emerald Coast Poker Run 2004

Eric, why don't you post this on the correct thread, ?????????but I'll anwser your Q's anyways. The majority of people that posted on that thread, like yourself, that wanted it, do not have a boat to run in it, but would have liked to go to the party, great, cause we like parties. There also was an entry fee, but no applicants, and then it turned into a bunch of trash talk, :argue: which was a few people's ego's getting involved. We tried to do something fun for everyone, and have different classes to keep it fair, but you cant have a race without applicants. The Q's that should be asked is why here on OSO do you bring this up, and again this is more than once on different threads, if you and the other guys want it so bad, call the shop, YOU and YOUR FRIENDS know the number, or better yet, call my cell after I get back from the races, both numbers are at the bottom of the page. Jeff

yo jeff ,this was your idea , not mine. i just wanna make some $$$$$$ off of the bets i will be making (or hope to make) . all that tmp has said they will put on a radar run. it is your job to get people to sign up. parties , don't really care for them too much. me and my people , what ,the one's with the dyno that everyone goes to have engines tuned including tmp motors  as far as my old resin bucket cigarette , yup , still sittin' on dollies :argue: but if i make enough on the bets from the radar run i'll have PRECISION build me some BIG AZZ blower motors :eek::eek: :drink:

Eric, your the biggest stir pottin b.s.er' north of the I-10 louisianna line. Your not making any bets, again stirring the pot, and you have to have money to bet money. You obviously have to much time on your hands over at the body shop, being a helper and all. I don't know what your problem is, nor do I care at this point. When you came up to me at the last P.R. the first words out of your mouth were, hey I'm Open 72-Eric, and I'm really not that much of an *******. By your conduct, and all your post whorrings, as well as trying to sabatoge TMP's threads or any of them that they are on, I at this point disagree with your statement. Also what does having to use Precisions Dyno have to do with anything, so what, it's called business, we get along just fine with those guys. They were willing to join us as sponsers for the radar run, so get your facts straight. If you think that you can b.s. me about how well you are in with Precision, guess again, I know the whole story. I also know the story why you don't care for TMP, we are not in the charity motor business, good parts cost money, and we won't do it any other way. Bottom line, You guys had an opportunity for the run, you guys know the number, you elected not to call, we did promoted it, but, you would rather run your mouth than your boats, pretty chicken chit :blaster: BTW, I AM a betting man, and I also know what we will be doing this weekend, is having fun with quite a few OSO'ers and enjoying the races at Orange Beach, rather than sitting at home on the computor, trying to get my oso tally count up, as if that was real important in the real world  Jeff

well ,since tuning and dynoing a motor is the most important part in a build and you have another company do the work than you take the credit. hmmm, i call that not doing your own engine program. and i know what i am doing this weekend, chamber of commerce end of the year bash plus i gotta finish my drive. sorry i am not rich as you ,some people gotta do stuff on their own. and it's spelled computer.

You have alot to learn, and BTW we do our own pulls and tuning, as well as programming. We also sell our motors, and the majority is by word of mouth. I'm done wasting my time with guys like you, you have just as much opportunity as everyone else, but its easier to make excuses for your shortcomings. I also do everything on my own, and a little word of advise, don't throw stones, especially when you live in a glass house. Jeff

Re: Emerald Coast Poker Run 2004

so if you do your own tuning and pulling, why did i see a tmp green motor with a black whippie on top last week at PRECISION BEING TUNED AND DYNOED by the

Poker run was great. Lots of nice hardware. Did not stay to see who won the car, I had enough when midnight rolled around. It was supposed to be over at 10:30. Does anyone know the winner?

We left around midnight also :( .The 4 people where headed to the round table for the play off as we where leaving .They didn't even do the raffle tickets while we where there :( .They must of gave them away after the final card game after midnight.

It was a great run and one hell of a party . Great food.and the scenery was outstanding. My buddy said he would have married at least 30 girls from Saturday night.

Felt like they where trying to milk us$$,it was dragged out

I took a bunch of picks :D

We were there , first poker run I have attended. Had a blast, hit all 9 stops. We were at Bamboo Willies at 10am, and everything was still running good by the end of the day. Hit the party later, did not get poker playing to well unless you had enough $$$ to buy a great hand or buy you the worst hand, (there rules)!! But the food was top notch and I live down here so I know what great seafood taste like. We had 16 raffle tickets and still missed the door prizes. But I didnt care, It was worth it KR
