After a 42 year embargo isn't it time to kiss and make up with Cuba? We did with Vietnam and many other countries we lost political ties over the years with. The Cubans are decent hard working people. I would like to see everybody "get along". I am alone on this? 15yrs in the slam for a sailboat race come on.

So much for "us" being free.... So much for "them" being behind "the iron curtain"....I guess the right palms haven't been greased or the Cuban labor isn't cheap enough for us to want to exploit them any more... Funny how we now have normal relations with VietNam.... and yet we still embargo Cuba.... hmmmm.... maybe if France had Cuba as a colony instead of Spain we'd be buddies with Fidel just to piss the French off....I swear... the older I get ... the less I understand US Foreign policy....

I agree Reed and they do say "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer". 42 years is enough. Let them open a few nice ports for cruise boats to stop at and a bus tour. Their people need help and we seem to help most everyone else. Grandpa Castro deserves some slack and then maybe changes will come in time. Iron curtains are relics.
