I would have told them an old story I know about a couple with their first performance boat who got distracted and looked back to see that their baby had exited the boat unnoticed. They never found the baby.

well is all started on sunday morning, a nice morning to test a different carb well after burning about 35 gallons of the good ole 110 octane at WFO for about 4 hrs on a 3 mile long lake, people got tired of it been a on going problem over the last year or so, my boat, dad's and uncles boat are all noisy, but mine is obnoxous the law shows up later that night... and you know blah blah blah, something about excessive speed and noise don't know what there talking about LOL! the law goes through there speech and stuff, pretty much told me If i didn't leave the lake or put mufflers on they would **** me over any way they could. i don't think anyone makes mufflers that can take my 112 db to 90 db then they went after my dad for no reason, tested his boat at 94 db, 4 db too loud. but didn't give him a ticket for some reason, then at the dinner table monday night dad blew up on me, told me to buy mufflers or leave the lake, I pretty much told them I am leaving, screw them all. I am gonna go play with the big boys now


the confrontation was a lot more heated then I post here, its is a long story and this is the short part.

Damn,, Banned by the law and your dad. Thats pretty good. If you want, your more than welcome to come boating here at Pittsburgh. If it ever stops raining. I'll save a slip for you to overnight it at the marina. There is a noise law in the state but I never heard of anybody enforcing it.

I offered a guy I worked with a ride and ended up with the wife and kids, of course they proceeded to try every kind of pop I had in the cooler.. well not wanting to be rude, it was a rough ride back and a short day.. Then I had some apprecitive friends waiting for me when I got back.. We rode the rough and had steaks on them.. worked out alright!! But I know what you mean... you dont want to step on people, but some make sure if they have to step on you, they will. I would have taken the bat to the chick's leg about the time it hit the arm rest..

The whole scene would piss me off, but the one would put me over the edge was as the gas dock. The had no $$$ for gas, BUT while you are spending your $$ on gas, they magically found $$$ for BEER???? F That. Hey, when the house is yours, you'll never have to see the fools again.
