was not going to get too involved here but...."I have ridden with both Todd and Tres and they are both very good but I think it had a lot to do with the hull! "....so how has that boat been doing since todd and tres got out of it???....fact is todd and tres are going to make anything not only run fast but run fast well! so while i agree todd and tres are 'very good',,,i totally dissagree with 'it had to do with the hull'....set-up, dail-in, and who's running it is everything....remove one of these key componets and you have people blaming the boat...have all 3 and you have domination...

What are you trying to say?? LOL.... The boat is clearly a contender at every race. The boat has the speed to win in F2 still but needs to be driven with respect. I do agree that given 6 foot seas the Cig has the advantage.....

Sorry for contributing to your thread getting derailed. I think you already know what boat you want; you've said a couple of times that you've always wanted a Cigarette, and you're now in a position to make that dream a reality. Go for it!

bret,,,just do not race on saturday!...use that time for set-up...a race is not only the worst place to learn/test/develop things, but also the most inefficient way of going about it.
