What are the usual payment terms when ordering a "custom" boat? I here a lot of stories about people ordering boats from various manufacturers and experiencing endless delays. How much $$ up front is the norm? I would be pissed if I had to lay down a significant sum only to be continually delayed. Is it like a construction loan on a house? You release funds as work is completed?
