First step hull?

Pick up the July issue of "Boating" magazine. There is a good article in there on page 22 about driving stepped boats. It is not difficult, but totally different from straight vee's.

No, 3ed stepped hull.

just figured some TG owners could give me some insight on what trim level is about right. When I sea trialed the boat, I didn't feel the props break loose as I gave more trim. I am sure there is a point of over trim, I would like to know about where that is.

When I'm just out running around I usually leave it at 4 or so. When I'm running hard, I trim as far as 5 1/2. I used to be able to trim to 6 or so but I switched to Sportmaster Shorties. Anything past that is overtrimmed.
