No boating this weekend :( Sent my carbs to Bowling Green Ky for a small vacation and tuneup...not back yet. Anybody need 200lbs of ballast in the passenger seat

Re: Doh!!
Dude, Dean Nickerson would have done it while you waited. and he is only 1/2 hour from you.

Re: Doh!!
That thought had crossed my mind but these carbs are far from stock and not a standard rebuild (not that Dean isn't good). They have relocated idle circuits and (don't quote me on this) reversed flow billet metering plates. Problem is , they seem to be going rich at WOT as you can see by the left exhaust pipe. The engine builder had been talking with Marv at Quick Fuel Techology and he really wanted to see them. He's supposed to have been an engineer with Holley for 20 years and is just about #1 with Holley carbs. Should have them this week sometime :)

They're baaaaaaack :) . Sent tuesday....recieved back tuesday...not bad.
Now lets hope there's a difference. One noticable difference is more restrictive primary boosters. Next lost the j tube vents. They claimed they caused a reduced barametric pressure in the bowls. |
Re: Doh!!
that ought to cover those holes :D
