Here's Quiet Storm's backup boat. 28 Checkmate, twin 365's with whipples. saw 75 mph MANY times in pretty rough water. What a ride!

that is a boat built by U S MARINE here in new orleans, they are called socs. special operation craft. they were building them with innovation power and #3 drives, hull/deck/bulkheads laminated together like you wouldn't belive. they would drop them out of airplanes :eek: they had a contract to build 75 if my memory serves correctly. the first few have been retired and sold at auctions. they had also developed a exhaust system to exit below the water line between the transom and the bottom pad so they could be quiet, the first few had pipes out the back. best of everything in them, cost to the goverment was 750g's a piece. there's your fica $$$ out of our paychecks :crazy:

They were there. I saw them there Saturday and actually think I saw them on their way Friday morning heading towards M59 on Williams Lake road in Waterford.

The PatriYacht went in place of the Chi-Town Hustler. The cat is getting new motors to finish the year and another pair for next year.

It was Ian, Donna, Corrado, Debbie(my wife), the 2 yorkies, and myself. The event was a blast. It was great meeting so many COPS and board members.

I checked, I don't have any more pics. Issues forced me to not get any pics from the second half of the day.

I had an absolute riot!! I have to put out a great big huge thanks to Roger, Quiet Storm, and his boys, Ryan and Luke. These are classy men and if you ever have a chance to hang out with them, do it. Also, it was nice to see Scooter Scott and his lovely wife Stefanie again too..... but please, no more yeagarbombs!!!
