You guys need to move on into the future that has become the present! 100mph used to be something special...now, 150-170mph is special. 60-70-80mph cookie cutter boats are going to become more commonplace. I'm not calling Cobalts cookie cutter boats but they aren't exactly Skaters. I hear people claim to have 70mph jet ski's. The bottom line, If you want to be a high performance boater the stakes are being raised every year. If you want to be a "big dog" on most reasonably sized bodies of water you have to have 100mph or so on tap or you are just an "also ran"

Can somebody tell me why you would put that much horsepower in a 22' Crownline with a 18 degree deadrise? Just a little wake from another boat and it will look like the one I saw at LOTO ramp July 4th. Needed scuba divers for that one.

I agree with that outlawinil........I think it's just like a "sleeper" car in street racing. If it can be done...chances are there's going to be someone out there to do it.

Let's just say that the look on the Baja owner's face when I "walk away" from him in my little Crownline bowrider is priceless!

i ran alongside a 34 w/ 525's at LOTO, not only was it fast, it was smashing 2-4's and the cruiser rollers ... i finally put him out of his misery north of 75 MPH...

Ah come on Rebar some lucky dude picked it up at the Boat Show Bargain Special price of only $311,000. What a deal!

Were you over there on Saturday afternoon with your kid? I tried to chase you down, but you disappeared before I could catch up.
