He may be goin to miami, but if he keeps riding that chopper around orlando like he was a few nights ago he wont live long enough to play there! He came around a corner and almost hit me... and of course he was not wearing a helmet.

you all are entitled to your opinions, of course, but the bottom line is, every single sports commentator or analyst believes Shaq is the most dominating player in the league, any team that has an opportunity to acquire him would be crazy not to.....there must be a reason why the Lakers stated they would not trade him to another Western Conference team because they didn't want to have to play against him......but what do all these people know......anyways, say what you want, Miami made the trade of a lifetime!

Shaq will be be a force next year, but he is on the down side. It would have been a mistake for the Lakers to sign him for the kind of dollars he wanted over 5-7 years. After two more years, he will be average at best with a huge load on the salary cap. Miami is looking short term ... I hope they can get out when the time comes.
Still gotta get past the "D"

Shaq is way too wealthy to be motivated to be the player he is capable of being.
It's almost sad. We never got to see the BEST of Shaq, like we did with Michael and Larry and Magic.
Money never seemed to factor into their "game".

I think Shaq will come out next year, in shape with a chip on his shoulder. He will be able to handle any center in the east. I haven't watched an entire NBA game since Shaq left Orlando for the bright lights of LA. Just because that pissed me off doesn't mean he can't play!
I remember watching him in his very first professional game. It was preseason. He grabbed a rebound, ran the court dribbling it himself, and finished with a monster jam. I knew right then I was watching someone special that I would most likely never see the like of again in my lifetime.
