New Cigarette on LI Sound
 

I finally got arouund to resizing some pictures. I've had this boat since June now and I am totally in love with it. The ride is amazing, it runs really strong and I think it looks great. I don't think I could be happier with the boat.

Only question is how long it will be before I try to make it run faster.

The hull has ghosted skull and cross bones images along each side. You can only see them up close or when light is right.

Details in the paint and interior are everywhere. It's so cool that they spent the time on all the details to make it all come together as a total package.

I've hit 88 with the boat a couple of time on 1/3 fuel and ideal conditions. But 84 to 86 are easily hit with full fuel etc. I had the boat running 84 with four people and almost full fuel down the Hudson. Every person that has been on board has been amazed how smooth the ride is. With the quality of the boat in just about every way, Cigarette has got to be at the top of their game these days.

Definitely a dream boat for me.

Hey John NY... you weren't whipping around Littleneck Bay yesterday(7/15/04) were you??? I live in the Two Towers overlooking the Bay and was on my Balcony...I am pretty high up so I can't make out graphics but it was definatly a cig...anyway goodluck with the ride she is a beauty!!!

That is a lot of colors.

How long till you mess with it, the day after the warranty runs out on those 525's! A friend just put on a Whipple3.3 with an intercooled intake on his 525 and dynoed just shy of 800HP.

GLH - you are reading my mind on the how and when of making it go faster. I'm just wondering what to do to beef up the drives - they are Bravo XR's. Got some homework to do on that.

Can't do Greenport tomorrow, but I thought I saw you guys go to the Crab Shell in Stamford on Thursdays? I boat out of Stamford, so I'm sure I can make it over there some time.

Stormrider, I live in Westchester county in NY but boat out of Stamford CT. End up on the LI side most of the time.

cigs new paint scemes are awsome... nice evolution in designs from late 90s to now... just when i thought nor tech and outerlimits were pulling away the LEGEND returns!!! i have had my doubts in the past but IN SKIP WE TRUST!!!!

Stormrider - I used to head to Pt Washington quite a bit, one of my firends lived there for a while. I always thought Capri Marina was one of the best I ever encountered. Been a while since I've been that way. What restaurants are you thinking of - can you tie up at any of them?

how have i not run into you??? i launch in OB all the time. Its teh red scarab with the blower adn the dry pipes and headers. YOu can apparently hear me from miles away. I havnt; bene out much this season due to my racing commitments but i plan to run it some more later this summer. What kidn of boat do you have? tehre ar ea bunch o fp us on teh northshore in teh glen cove, OBish area on the baord now.

Dude, when you first PM'd me you told me you weren't looking to stir anything up, but you just keep doing it. Now you're hoping my boat sinks. I haven't responded to any of your other posts, which have been deleted?! I've heard the other side of this story, as apparently Otis had indicated in another post. Didn't sound to me like anything was sold out from under you and as Otis indicated previously, I'd rather not embarass you as to the why.

So I will tell you AGAIN, if you have a beef with Ocean Performance take it up with them not me. As I understand it, the reason the boat is not yours was in your hands, not theirs - $$$. Same with the other boat they 'sold out from under you'. From your perspective now they are bad, Cigarette is not responsble for the boat at all, TAOD didn't have anything to do with how it looks and my boat should sink because I bought a boat that was, uh, for sale. Hmmmm.

FWIW, I couldn't have been treated better by Ocean Performance before, during and after the sale. I would definitely buy another boat from them.

Your bull ssht story about what happened at OP has to stop! You were not there! You have no idea about how they screwed me out of two boats and how they did not return 100% of my deposit! I have all the paperwork to back it up! This forum is for people to learn about dealers to stay away from. So stay out of what you do not know! I do not care what you think! I will never call you! I am pissed about the situation. I HOPE THE BOAT IS CURSED! I can never use the "Loose Cannon" name or my design or another boat now. From what I know about you, you would be pissed too! Think about it like this - someone took away your alcohol. Get it?

Actually made it to Port Washington today and went to Chelsea Pier in Manhattan a few weeks ago - see pic.
