Sorry, I'm on some cheap meds, just got in from knee surgery. I wish I could find a more powerful to weight ratio diesel than the Yan 480's. I wish they made a more powerful version and reduced the hours of reliable run time like say 1000 vs 3000, but now you get 650hp. Jeff

Ultimate Cat, Awesome package Tell me why a 3 speed tranny vs a 2 speed. When you ordered your MTI did you just have the vent tubes and 1 speed tranny. Im doing reserch on twin 480's and definatly Arneson asd-8's. I wish Rik would come out with his own version of tranny, so we could pair them together. Thanks Jeff

who makes the trannies for these applications... the 3spd? I have seen some automatics out of cars used in ski boats.

The Spectre Is Now For Sale With Or Without The Yanmars.. The 3 Spd Trans For The Mti Are A 1:1 In Low Gear With 2 Overdrive Shifts..
