Now looking at a boat with twin 1000hp supercharged Tyler Crockett motors with 10 hours since re-build....anyone have any experience with these? They're bolted to #5s.
Thanks

I don't have experience with 1000hp motors but, I have meet and know Tyler Crockett and he is a stand up guy. I think he is on OSO but doesn't check very often.

Pully change would "tune them down" a bit I'm sure. I've never heard a bad thing said about Tyler or his motors. He's been very helpfull every time I've called him for advice.

tune them dow a bit, like you want, reliabilty will go up a bit, and the #5's will be fine. I have #5's and Stelling boxes on my Nortech 4300, great reliable package with 750hp and torque. The 5's are good for 900-1000hp. good luck..Jeff
