I remember someone saying that a bunch of dudes got together on thursday evenings and did a little informal racing, do any of you guys know if that still goes on?

It used to go on a few years ago. Everyone would meet up at Gull and hang out shoot the breeze and every once and a while there was a race up and down the south channel. I was hanging out there 2 years ago towards the tail end of it's "hay day". But who am I to say...it might still be going on and I just don't know about it if it is.
