OK,,, I know there are several Lake Cumberland Boaters that do their Cyber Boating here so fill me in please on what the "Law" is doing over there!!! We are planning our Trip to the Poker Run, and then I heard that the Water Patrol has gone Crazy, boarding , and searching Boats for Alcohol, even Houseboats are being stopped. Is this True?? I also heard that you can't anchor at the "Falls'' anymore, and they are stopping ever Boat that leaves the area, looking for Beer, even if the Driver is totally Sober,, they are issuing tickets to the Passengers for drinking in public,, Is this True???

Last I heard, the poker run organizers was trying to come to an agreement so that all the participates will not be harrassed. Must be why the 'to Labor Day' enforcement. Kentucky wants the $$$ that will come from that weekend. But god forbid you go the weekend before, then they get if from tickets. It's a feeding frenzy there right now. Seems like some kinda discrimination thing. If it was not for loosing the deposit on the houseboat for PR weekend, I'd just assume keep my $$ here in IN.

Anyone have a 5/8's wrench?

I'm not there, but I hate to hear that for anyone. Dripping Springs at Grand Lake here in Oklahoma kind of went through the same thing, but all they cracked down on was the nudity. Other than that, the lake patrol is pretty cool.

Pulled my boat out of cumberland for the year. Hopefully i'll be able to go back next year without being stopped for no reason.
