These OL Fountain threadds were the greatest!!!

The SV43 with the Merc 1650's is running today in Washing, NC. Videos are showing up on FB already, no official numbers posted yet though. I understand APBA is on-hand to cert any record breaking numbers if (when?) it happens.

Rumors of true hp ratings of those engines in the Fountain have been all over the place and the claimed numbers don't add up on paper. Regardless, there's plenty of chatter floating around about the fountain crew using Twisted Metal to potentially make a record run in the not to distant future. If so, it would be great to see Merc 1650's used as well so speeds can be compared with similar power.
