Yes, it is gone. I passed it one day and saw that they set it on fire to let the fire companies do their training... :( :(

They just re-opened the old Xanadu Club under the name Circuit. I would think they were referring to what the area was called back in the day....

Ship Wheel is now a nice restuarant.
Stone Pony is still the Stone Pony
Beach House as in Point Pleasant Beach on NJ Ave is now Condos.( I grew up on that street.)
Headliner is still the Headliner but really expanded.
The Royal Manor? WOW! Now that is going back! :eek:
The Royal Manor has been leveled for some time now and just an empty lot ever since.... :(
Casablanca........Townhouses
Trade Winds also now leveled for Condos...

Remember the Barber Shop ?

Time marched on Asbury Park stood still.
I spent alot of time there as a kid, some how it just never changed. It still looks the same today as it looked 30 yrears ago. Probably a good place to by some property !

I rode through today on the Harley.....Looks like some new construction is happening. It would be nice to see Asbury restored.
