when we brought my buddies boat (42' excaliber) to lake superior earlier this summer, there was a storm blowing in from the north, we took the boat out on the 'big' lake. 10'-12' swells.


was fun, until his gf got sea sick and started puking all over... she was honor'd with the nickname of "Chunks" after that weekend. :)

If Superior is anything like Erie in 10-12' (washing machine Short chop) I don't think even a tank of boat like a 42 excalibur would feel real safe. Must have been a blast. :D

There won't be swells, there will be big ass steep breaking crap water. The water is too shallow to develope real swells.
