when we brought my buddies boat (42' excaliber) to lake superior earlier this summer, there was a storm blowing in from the north, we took the boat out on the 'big' lake. 10'-12' swells.

was fun, until his gf got sea sick and started puking all over... she was honor'd with the nickname of "Chunks" after that weekend.

If Superior is anything like Erie in 10-12' (washing machine Short chop) I don't think even a tank of boat like a 42 excalibur would feel real safe. Must have been a blast.

I'd prefer Superior 10 footers to Erie 10 footers, thank you. At least they would be like swells.
