I have seen this boat at so many races in the mid 90's, it was always in front. Thank god the crew is ok.

I've never seen a Sutphen break like anything close to that befoer. The hull looks alot like the 33' PowerPlay Mr. K after PePe Ferrira was Killed in KW.

Ryan, I was 50 feet away from Mr K when it blew apart and I was 100 feet away from this one today. It was the identical fly, trip, stuff. And the same results to the hull.
Thank God these guys are OK. One is still in the hospital, they will only say he's in satisfactory condition. PS, he just bought the boat this summer, but has raced in it many times.

Kinda amazing how Buckshot survived all of those trips to KW and always made a good showing and then ends up writing the final chapter in 3 footers off NJ. What a boat! Good to hear the crew will be OK!
