I never had a problem with that set-up.
Had 2000 / 502 Mag MPI's pushing bravo's on a 1994 Cafe. |

Re: Bravos on a Cafe Racer?
Have them on a cafe I recently bought, w/ 515 hp. No problems. I would reccomend external steering to save the gimbles. Previous owner had problems and none since installing steering.

Did you ever buy that cafe....................... :) |
I've got mild blowers on 502's with my Cafe.
Knock on wood, I haven't had any trouble yet. I treat it accordingly.... |
I have HP 500 EFI's with Whipples turning Bravo XR's on my 1995 Cafe... all you need for long life is to keep the testosterone guage in the green. As mentioned above, I believe the external hydraulic steering is a must.
