Key West Ideas For The OSO Crowd
 

Looks like a zillion of us going to Key West this year :D after every event I see posts that say, I wish I would have met more OSO'ers. So why don't we kick around a few ideas in advance for those that want to meet up.

Some of my ideas are

1. An OSO button, with a spot for you to write your OSO name, after all I can't were my OSO Tee shirt everyday :D (great publicity for OSO)

2. OSO can make a spread sheet where each member that wants can post their hotel and Cell number. An excel sheet would be good, if they can't do it maybe someone would volunteer.

3. Start a thread where everyone that's going post their pictures :eek:

4. And lastly, Steve are you hosting a party, if so what night :D :drink: :D

So what do you think, you guys have any ideas?

I'm glad to see you and Mr PatriYacht will still be able to make Key West! We're open for whatever you and OSO suggest. I do know that the name tags worked really well in Sarasota (Phantom1 made those).

Like you, I only have so many OSO shirts to wear. Maybe a section with pictures of everyone along with their name, hotel and contact number underneath would work.

Good suggestion on the buttons! Maybe Steve can come up with some for the members to buy. I think we have enough OSO get togethers year round that people can buy them once and use them often!

Come on Steve....we want buttons! :p

Best thing about the buttons, or name tags, is there is no need to remember who is who, or give out phone #'s or whatever, just wandering down Duval, and run into someone with an OSO button, look at her chest to see who they are(screen names please), and go have a drink together!!!

Dave tatoos are actually a good idea. Steve could get some of the temporary ones made up. I have tried a few of those that lasted for a week:D

I just talked to Steve, he's on his way to the Shootout in LOTO, he said
he liked the name tags that they had in Sarasota so he will have a computer
set up to do that by his rig in Key West :D He has a lot of ideas but still
wants to hear ours. Like us he's real excited and wishes it was next week, not me Mr. P's foot needs time to heal :(

Why don't we have a OSO boat raft up party . There has to a bunch of us that are bringing there boats down. We each could take a few people that don't have there own boats, to the raft up. :) Tom

would definately bring the beer, the wine and the margaritas and even toss in
some gas money. Tom are you bringing your OL, I read on another thread it's pretty nice.

Steve will gladly sell you an OSO t-shirt for each day and each evening that you are there. Embroidery of your name on each shirt will be extra - free for big breasted women. :) :) :D $$$$$

W'ell be there - keep the post up and maybe there willl be some "schedule" of events.

I don't plan on being too scheduled on this, - but a few get togethers would be a good time. Also maybe a meeting place at the actual races - including the infamous scooter race.
This is a first time for me, but really looking forward to it.

keep me posted as to the planned events.
Won't have a boat there, but if enough members were willing to do the raft up thing, I would be forever grateful to anyone who invited me ( hint... hint... - of course I'll cover the drinks and some gas...).

November is too far away for me right now - this like being 6 years old and waiting for Dec. 25.

we all crashed into the southern most point marker at the same time. if memory serves me (which it really dosent) it was about 4:00am and everything was all blurry and jittery the strippers had all my money and Capo was still under a bar stool somewhere on Duval. :D :D

hey magnum, i have never jumped before but have always wanted to. would that be a good place for my first jump? can i go by myself or would i have to go tandem?

Unfortunately the first jump has to be a tandem. I have never jumped either but always wanted to and that has to be one of the best places to do it. The place that we are staying at sent us info of things to do and it was listed. It is a tandem jump from 10,000 feet! If anyone else is interested I can get you the info. It's a chance of a lifetime. Who knows if we get enough people together maybe we can get a discount.

Great idea with the buttons!!!!!!!!!!! I'm always wondering who the OSO people are that are at the same events that I go to aka GLSCS & SOTW. Hope to meet some new friends down in Key West this year!!!!

Stickers, buttone, shirts...chit, by the time it gets dark no one can read anyway...:D
It's going to be a blast as always, but this year it seems that there will be more people there than have been in a long time.

The name tags worked out great in Sarasota, but that was only for one night...we'd need some for each day...buttons seem more durable.

If buttons are a problem..

If each of us has a printer, mines an inkjet.. you can get stick-on mailing labels and do your own thing in large print (3x4)...That way you can print a page full of name tags and place them anywhere on any material except leather, felt etc..

Just a easy cheapo idea..If push comes to shove...

I look forward to hanging out with everyone in Key West! What Fun! I am transporting up to 30 boats to Stu's Poker Run. After this is done, I think a drink will be called for! Cheers!
