C-Spray, you're absolutely right. It did lack refinement simply because it was the first one ever made. It was basically a prototype. With lessons learned from that boat, the one to be shown in Miami will be a truly finished product. For starters, Hustler boys have decided that a large cockpit with a circular lounge and seating for 8 to 10 people is much more important for this type of boat and clientele than pushing 80 mph. It was decided that 70 mph for this type of boat is plenty. Also, it became obvious that an aft sleeper cabin in addition to the forward one was an important feature since it enables a family of four to spend a weekend aboard without having to take the salon apart to convert it into sleeping. It makes the whole concept more civilized. This will be a fine product, I'm sure.

And, when I'm talking about interior room, I am comparing the 48/50 Sunseeker to the 48 Fountain. When I said "if you want to go 60", I was refering to speed. It's obvious that a 60' Sunseeker has more room than a Fountain 48. It's 16' wide.
