any memebr claims or accident scene investigator?

Puder,
Glad to hear that you are not hurt. The police will do the report based on what you tell them and any witnesses. There will be a "CR" or "dispatch" number that the Trooper gave you. That will be the report number. Give that to your ins. company.
I seriously doubt that the other car will report it (No cop would give a delayed accident report based on just the reporting persons account), because the driver of that car would be at risk of going to jail (Leaving the scene of an accident).
Typically, in a Hit-and-Run investigation, the Police Officer will broadcast (Either on the air or computer) the description of the fleeing vehicle. This simply gives a heads up to other officers in the immediate area.
Sometimes, a clever trick is to report your car stolen after you have left the scene of an accident. Then, magically it is found a short time after in a nearby area but wait... Somebody wrecked it.
It sucks, and I can't give you any realistic silver lining, except that you are healthy.
For what it's worth, I have many stories of suspects that "get theirs" down the road...
Good Luck,
Bryan

as for the car i'm not sure if it was nissan or not. It was that style though. It was black with a black guy (i'd say mid 30s) driving it. The damage was significant to the front and teh left side mainly around the drivers side door. It happened right at exit 3 on 91 in new haven. As amatrter of fact he hobbled his wreckage down exit 3. I am also assumign he went ot hospital cus he took a hard shot and i saw him get launched aroudn ine the car when I impacted. Hell I had a great view of it. Honestly i hope that POS is really screwwed up and in majot pain currenlty. Him dumbass (most likely drunken) manuver could have killed me.

PICS!!!!!!!!
they foudn the car that casued the crash (that i collected). This guy was damn lucky, had he spun down 50' ahead and slowed down mor ethan he did (liek if say he was stoppe dwhen i hit him as opposed to traveling slowly the same direction i was) it woudl have been WAY worse. The car was stolen and teh driver remains unknown.
