Wonder who's been watching too many reruns of the movie "1941", starring "Cuda Belushi".
Local code offices show a permit pulled for a "trophy room" to be built at "the Lodge". If I were Cuda I'd be carrying 24/7, that snake has his number....

Deb and I went for a ride in the forrest today. When we got back, there were three kids at the end of the canal throwing a castnet for fish. I walked down to tell them it is ilegal to net anything but shiners and catfish. There were a ton of bluegill, shiners, bass, and catfish at the end of the canal. The fish must be starving for oxygen and the fish are there because there is a little spring that runs in there. I warned the kids about the mocassin, and told them to come get me if they see him. So now I've got scouts out looking for him, not to mention that the dead fish are pretty good snake bait. Oh yeah, Debbie reached down on our dock and caught an eating size bluegill with her hands.
