Come on out to Oregon. There are plenty of them are in the mountains. We have one smaller than that one, but really love it. Maintenance is not bad as long as you have good sealer. Also want to check out insurance. Solid log homes are more to insure than kit built log homes in our state. They sure are cozy though.

I looked into this as well, and would still like to do it in the future. I was turned off by the maint. as well as the settleing issues and getting a turn key price. It was very hard to get a turn key price, never got extremely serious and decided on a traditional home.
