Map Quest shows 160.56 Miles @ 3 hours and 39 minutes. If I left Miami airport on Friday night the 19th, the weekend of the world championships at 9:30 PM how long will it take me to get there? is 3 1/2 hours about right.

That's about right once you get down to Key Largo you slow down with traffic,lights,and it is mostly two lane road.

Watch your speed carefully, there is a basic "no tolerance" for speeding.

Three and a half hours should be about right for night time, there will be very little traffic, only the local drunks, the drunk tourists and the cops!

That time is about right......Do watch your speed in the Keys.....cops don't have a sense of humor in that respect!!

I love that drive, it can take up to 10 hours, depending how often you stop to water the driver.

With ALL the traffic then.........anywhere from 4 - 6 hrs

Not much to see at night time. I don't think I've ever drove to Key West during the daytime The traffic out on Monday is about all I can remember during the day.
