Crockett's pistol was a Bren Ten. The first pistol to be devoloped for the 10mm cartridge.

I don't know what the Bren Ten sounds like in real life, but if you played 10 wave files of different guns being fired, I can tell you which one was the the one they dubbed in for Crockett's handgun.
